Come and join us for our September clean up at Tania Park, Balgowlah Heights. We'll meet in the grass area on the field at Tania Park (close to the Arabanoo lookout)- see map below. Address is Dobroyd Scenic Drive, Balgowlah Heights. We have gloves, bags and buckets. We'll clean up this area to try and catch all the litter before it flies over the cliffs and in to the ocean. Some of us can focus on the lookout area, grass areas and others can walk along the bushes. We will clean up until around 11.30 and after that we will start to pack up. We appreciate any help we can get, no matter how small or big. No booking required - just show up on the day. We're a friendly group of people and everyone is welcome to this family friendly event. It's a nice community - make some new friends and do a good deed for the planet at the same time. For everyone to feel welcome, please leave political and religious messages at home. There is a carpark, but it can be busy on Sundays, so check streets close by as well if it's full. Message us here or on our social media if you are lost. All welcome - the more the merrier. Please invite your friends too.

Queenscliff (Manly) Clean Up
What a beautiful day we had at Queenscliff Lagoon and Queenscliff Beach A huge thank you to each and everyone who's part of the crew. You, me, and everyone are the people that make this crew to what it is = inclusiveness, kindness, fun, friends that come together to make our local area cleaner for all beings. We found some strange items like a huge dangerous-looking knife, astroturf, a chips bag best before 2010, an unusual looking shoe, and fake hair.
We're really looking forward to getting to know each and everyone more and we're hoping to see you again next month. Our clean ups are always the last Sunday of every month at 10am (no booking required, just turn up with a smile)

Whale Beach Clean Up
Unfortunately, were not able to host a clean up in March, but we loved our April crew at Whale Beach. Whale beach was a fairly clean beach, but we found a very old wheelbarrow and a chair, plus of course the usual suspects like food wrappers, cigarette butts, old toys and clothes. We are so happy that we have the lovely Roly onboard - he serves beautiful coffee, tea and hot chocolate to all our volunteers - all for free.

Bilgola Beach Clean Up
Bilgola was our February clean up for 2024. We would love to thank all our wonderful volunteers that came from both our local area as well from places like Parramatta and other areas. We are extremely grateful for each and everyone of you. We would also like to thank the wonderful Roly from Emu Parade Clean Up that treated all volunteers with free coffee. We loved having you onboard Roly, and thank you for everything you do.
Some of the unusual items for this clean up was legs and wheels from a TV stand, an old milk glass bottle, a worm farm, and a street sign. We also found lots of abandoned signs from the Bilgola bend.

Some of us can focus on the bush area and sandy/rocky areas, and others can walk along the edges and even clean up in the water (at own risk). We will clean up until around 12.00 and after that, we will take a group photo, bag the rubbish and head for lunch together (at own cost).
No booking required - just show up on the day - we will be there no matter what weather. We're a friendly group of people, and everyone is welcome to this family friendly event. It's a nice community - make some new friends and do a good deed for the planet at the same time. For everyone to feel welcome, please leave political and religious messages at home - this includes t-shirts with political campaign messages, and we don't allow people handing out flyers at our events.
There is a council carpark, check streets close by as well if it's full or please consider using public transport.

We had our last clean-up of the year - at south Curl Curl. This was a beach that initially looked very clean, but whatever is in the bushes will soon end up on the beach. Maybe not some of the bigger items though. Some of the more unusual finds on this clean up were: four chairs, a chair made from a car seat, a rusty car part, a full Woolworths basket of old rusty car cleaning and maintenance products - and of course lots of food wraps, bottles, cans and remnants of plastic bags.
